The challenge

Kalvei is a Czech B2B distributor of hygiene and scent marketing solutions: FRE-PRO air fresheners, Tork and Kimberly-Clark dispensers, and professional cleaning chemicals. The company needed more than a store: a platform that talks to the ERP, verifies business customers in the ARES register on its own and generates documents in the formats its trading partners require. Standard plugins don’t do that. Manually re-entering stock levels and orders between the ERP and the store was a bottleneck that grew with every new business customer.

The solution

We built WooCommerce into a B2B platform with price lists assigned to customer segments and products visible only after the company is verified. A custom integration layer syncs stock levels and orders with the ERP in real time, with no nightly CSV exports. An integration with the ARES API automatically confirms company details at registration, and the XML generator produces documents in the three formats the partners require. We built the front end to a design by the TroubleMakers studio, in two languages (CS/EN). The store runs at shop.kalvei.cz with GoPay payments and Ecomail email marketing, next to the kalvei.cz catalog site on the same theme.
