The challenge
To Tylko Teoria is a popular science blog by Łukasz Sakowski: more than a thousand articles on biology, medicine, psychology and pseudoscience, written over many years on Blogger. After all that time the blog needed a new home: a CMS with more control over the content, a refreshed look and a tool for the annual “Biologiczna Bzdura Roku” (Biological Nonsense of the Year) poll, in which readers vote.
The solution
We moved the blog to WordPress: more than 1,000 articles from Blogger. We built the new design on a template, adapted to long, in-depth articles. For the “Biologiczna Bzdura Roku” poll we built a custom voting module that exports the results to CSV straight from the admin panel, so the author can sum up the vote without counting by hand.
