The challenge
Ecotex Group is a group of companies in the used and outlet clothing trade (from collection, through sorting and recycling, to wholesale), with member companies in Poland and Germany. Its goods go mainly to second-hand stores, in bundles, usually sold by weight. The group needed an online store based on a custom graphic design that would serve clients from different markets, in several currencies and languages, from day one.
The solution
We implemented the eCommerce module on WooCommerce to a custom design and added what international sales need: multiple currencies and multiple languages. The Polish version of the store bills in PLN, the English one in euros, and the group’s entire website is also available in German. The store sells wholesale to businesses only: customers enter their tax ID (NIP) when they register, prices are net, and the catalog is split into categories by grade and origin of the goods. For Helppack, another company in the group, we also built a DHL integration.
